I. Metal Smelting Process
Using a 3-8 ton acidic medium-frequency induction furnace for smelting, ensuring Cast Jaw Plates material uniformity and high toughness. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Pre-treatment stage: Cleaned scrap steel and pig iron are used as base materials, and ferrochromium, ferrotungsten, ferronickel and other alloys are added to optimize the steel composition.
2. Alloying treatment: Ferromanganese and ferrosilicon are added 5-10 minutes before tapping to improve material performance.
3. Deoxidation treatment: 0.05% high-purity aluminum deoxidizer is added before tapping, lasting 2 minutes, to reduce oxide inclusions.
4. Temperature control: The molten iron tapping temperature is strictly controlled at 1460-1500℃ to ensure fluidity.
5. Modification treatment: Rare earth composite modifiers are added to the ladle to refine the grain size and improve Cast Jaw Plates wear resistance.
6. Slag removal and calming: Add heat-preserving slag agent to cover the molten steel, let it stand for 5 minutes before removing slag to reduce impurities.
7. Pouring control: The pouring temperature is stable at 1360-1400℃ to ensure the quality of casting formation.
