How to effectively prevent the loosening of the crushing wall in a cone crusher

During operation, cone crushers often encounter large pieces of material or iron objects. Frequent impacts and friction can cause the cone crusher component—the liner—to loosen. If not detected and repaired in time, this loosening will accelerate the wear of the sawtooth screw pair and internal gear pair, leading to their failure, seriously affecting the normal operation of the equipment and shortening its service life. To ensure the long-term stable operation of the crusher, effective measures must be taken to prevent Cone Crusher Liner loosening. The following are some common methods to prevent liner loosening:
1. Ensure the zinc alloy is in close contact with the main shaft nut and lock nut
Poor contact between the zinc alloy and the lower surfaces of the main shaft nut and lock nut will cause the liner to loosen. Therefore, during installation, it is necessary to ensure close contact, avoiding any gaps or uneven pressure distribution.
2. Replace severely worn liners in a timely manner
Cone Crusher Liner The wear should be controlled to within two-thirds of the thickness; exceeding this limit, the weak parts easily become “soft”, leading to liner loosening or damage. Therefore, regularly check the wear of the liner, and replace it as soon as it reaches the replacement standard.

During feeding, the material should not contain too much mud and water, and the entry of iron objects should be avoided. 4. Regularly check the gap at the bottom of the liner
