Cone crushers are widely used in metallurgy, construction, mining, and other industries. They are typically used for secondary crushing, and even tertiary and quaternary crushing processes. During operation, the motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate through the transmission system, driving the moving cone (i.e., the concave) to rotate and swing. Under the action of the eccentric bushing, the moving cone forms a crushing chamber with the stationary cone (also called fixed cone or mantle). Material in this crushing chamber repeatedly undergoes moving cone compression and impact by the moving and stationary cones, thus being crushed to the required particle size. When the crushed material reaches the required particle size, it is discharged from the bottom of the cone due to its own gravity, completing the crushing process.
However, due to the long-term high-load operation of cone crushers, wear and tear is inevitable. In particular, the concave and mantle these two important wear-resistant parts, directly participate in the crushing operation, and wear is particularly severe. If these parts are excessively worn and not replaced in time, it may lead to decreased equipment performance, or even affect the normal operation of the equipment. In severe cases, it may cause shutdown, resulting in huge economic losses for the enterprise.
the concave and mantle play a crucial role in cone crushers. The cooperation between the concave and mantle is one of the core mechanisms for cone crushers to crush materials. Due to their high-intensity work nature, the material and quality of the concave and mantle directly affect the overall work efficiency and durability of the cone crusher. To ensure the effective operation of the equipment, regular inspection and replacement of worn parts are key measures to ensure stable production.
